They’ve been everywhere. Lived everywhere. I couldn’t pull myself away from the wall plastered in gorgeous photos of exotic places. Cities with names I can’t pronounce without sounding like a bumpkin, Countries with sun so bright it would melt my fair skin in an instant.
So, naturally, their daughter was a tiny yet enthusiastic traveler. She couldn’t wait to meet them, and arrived (to everyone’s surprise) far ahead of schedule.
Her itinerary was changed to include a stay in the hospital NICU.
There were a million places on the map they dreamed of taking her one day; full of bright colors, magical sounds, and fantastic smells.
But now there was only one place that mattered.
Home.
And that is exactly where I found beautiful baby Capri.
Finally home.
There she was, snuggled tightly in the arms of her parents, to whom she means the entire world.
