It’s an old habit from art school-

We always laid out all of our work at the end of the year,

Took a look back before moving forward again.

I still like to do it every year.

Make goals, think about the direction I’d like to head

So each year I pull my favorites;

Some of my family, some of yours-

And the goals?

There’s always the technical ones; lighting, angles, try this, try that.

But the subject matter-

I just want to keep on working with wonderful families like yours…
