Our backyards, no matter if they are a postage stamp, or a forest, are all kingdoms in our memories. Everything that is barefoot and wonderful about childhood happened there. Driving by as an adult you might think “It seemed so much bigger when I was little” And the truth is, the people that moved in after you shrunk it. They must have. But what did they do with the pirate ship, and the fort, and the princess castle? Did the giant, and the fairies, and all the fans from the baseball stadium find somewhere else to play? I’m so glad this family chose their backyard for their family photos. They are moving to a new home soon, and now  their yard full of big and amazing adventures can come with them.
