Try it.
Ask him.
He’ll know, and he tell you who’s on second, third, and probably the entire batting order.
This toddler cannot be stumped.
George has smarts, but he’s also “got game”. It’s hard to say if if the future will find him playing the game, or announcing it.
As for little sister Mary, what she lacks in MLB knowledge, she makes up for in effort. Cutest one year old ever to crawl the bases (at a rather impressive pace, I might add).
She even showed us a few steps, and they should certainly strengthen her game (Don’t let anyone tell you walks aren’t important). 😉
Mary’s first “walk” came just in time for her first birthday. It’s a big day for a little girl, so we let George keep on playing, while his sister made an early exit. A quick change from her “uniform” to her “street clothes”, and we were all set for a few birthday portraits.
The night ended the way all good baseball playing nights do….with ice cream covered faces, and ear to ear smiles.
Love this team. 🙂
