Back when she was in kindergarten, I used to call her “Mags”. One day she followed her big sisters into summer art lessons in my classroom. She was a little apprehensive at first, I remember that I could barely see her hiding behind them. Until I brought the paint out, then she was in my art room for the long haul. Maggie was always a talented and enthusiastic artist.
She’s still a bit on the quiet side, but I’m thinking the days of Maggie hiding behind her big sisters are long over. Thanks to those long legs it’s no longer even a possibility. She’s outgrown them both. Their “little” sis has become a tall, gorgeous, high school senior with a beautiful confident smile, and the blue eyes you’ve ever seen.
Great catching up with you, Maggie. 🙂
