Little ones make time both stop and race at the same time.
Before, it’s a race to see how many things you can check off your list in an hour.
Then she arrives, and you look at each other and laugh, realizing you’ve just spent an hour watching her breathe.
The rest of the world keeps going around you, while your whole world is bundled up in an impossibly small blanket.
Everything has stopped for her.
Although it seems as though that tiny little blanket shrinks a bit every day,
Slow, but still growing a just a bit too fast.
Days so wonderful you could stay in them forever.
Julie, these are such warm and wonderful photographs. The smiles on the faces of mom and dad are the essence of pure love and joy. You did great.
