Cherry blossoms are Jontaro’s birthday flower.

The blossom is even more special to his family because mom is from Tokyo, Japan.

Reminds her of home.

So of course, the cherry blossoms in Ault Park had to be our backdrop.

But in Cincinnati, the backdrop of the backdrop could be snow, rain, sleet, or blazing sun.  Lately it’s been rain and cold. One just never knows what the weather will bring in April. 😉

Turns out the birthday boy brought us luck, and we end up with a gorgeous day filled with beautiful blossoms, birthday balloons, and the happiest one year old I’ve ever met…
