Love Ya, Grandma Dee

Tonight I don’t have the words.

But I am so thankful that I have the pictures.

“Gosh Darn It, Jul. Put that camera away!”

(She never liked when I took her picture)

But I couldn’t put it away.

And I am so glad I didn’t.

I could never take enough pictures of  Grandma Dee.

Because each picture is a moment with her.

And I wish I could have more of both.

More pictures, more moments.

She had no idea how beautiful she was.

How much she impacted my life, all of our lives.

And I can’t believe how lucky I am.

I miss her dearly already.

Love ya, Grandma Dee.
