All the aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and the grandma, in this family were in town together. Last minute family pictures? Not a problem. It started out like this….
However, the radar showed a storm was coming in fast. Like, uh, in ten minutes. Daytime was already looking like midnight even though it was only 10:00 a.m. We had only snapped a few shots of one side of the family, but exactly ten minutes later we were throwing cameras, lights, chairs, people, whatever, into the trunk of my car. BIG STORM. ( Mother Nature-What’s the deal lately?) With family living in two different states we needed a “Plan B” to make this work while everyone was together.
I had one of my lights and a backdrop in my car, so pretty soon we were squeezing alot of people into a little living room. After moving some furniture…we got the job done. 🙂
This is a recreated shot from when all the cousins were much younger (and much shorter).
Fast forward several family shots, and several umbrellas later, and things ended up like this….
( I think some people are having much more fun than in the formal shots!)
And for some of the more adventurous family members things ended up like this…
No rain delays for this fun family! Thanks for being flexible….enjoy your sneak preview!
