When you are so in love with the first, how do you love two?I’ve wondered and learned; You love them exactly the same,  but completely differently, and one always just as much as the other. Which is to say, so much you feel your heart will certainly burst. And while you loved one with both arms, you now love two with an arm around each, and nearly always with an elbow shutting a cupboard door, or a foot scooting a box from here to there. The first is loved in quiet awe, and the second from the center of a chaos of toys. After dinner when you and he, and your first and your second collapse on the couch from a day full of play, you’re completely exhausted, but realize you wouldn’t have it any other way.
